KIDS WITH LAUNDRY, Biola

These Mixteco children live with their parents, five people to a single room, at this farm worker camp. Their laundry hangs less than three feet from grape vines, which are frequently sprayed with pesticide without any warning. Nationwide, 26% of migrant housing units are directly adjacent to pesticide-treated fields. Among these units, 53% lack a working tub/shower, clothes washer or both.
