LONI, Transcendence

A forty-one year old female-to-male transsexual, Loni performs regularly with Transcendence. Now an iron worker, after long battles with drugs and street life, Loni who sings both alto and tenor, says it was a hard adjustment to finally find a group of people who accepted him fully, "Being radically included felt weird, because Iâve always been an outcast, an outsider. Spiritually it has kept me grounded ö when I donât feel right inside. Itâs a place of refuge."
